Grits Entertainment LLC marks the achievement of a life-long dream for owner Angela Polite of running her own production company.

Its genesis also comes at a time when history is being marked by a new renaissance; a wave of black artists expressing their own humanity in a myriad of ways. Angela counts herself among those courageous new black creators.

Grits Entertainment LLC is a full-service production company specializing in theater, new media, and film projects. Its creative mission is three-fold: to elevate the historical narrative of the black experience in America, to educate and emancipate the American consciousness through educational tools and curated conversations, and to be a purveyor of truth through storytelling.
